Artist description
Fifteen year-old Chloé Trevor has been acclaimed for her full, rich tone and incredible technical skill.
She was introduced to the violin at age 2 by her mother. She later studied with Maria Shleuning and currently studies with Arkady Fomin, Dallas Symphony violinist and Artistic Director of the New Conservatory of Dallas.
Chloé has appeared as soloist with several orchestras, including the Knoxville Symphony, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Plano Symphony and the New Conservatory of Dallas.
She was the Grand Prize winner at the 2003 Dallas Symphonic Festival Competition and 3rd Prize winner in the 2003 Juanita Miller Competition. She also won the Grand Prize at the 2000 Collin County Young Artists Competition.
In December of 2000, she performed as soloist with the Latvian Chamber Orchestra in Riga, Latvia. That same year, she was featured violinist in the Music in the Mountains Conservatory in Colorado and at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas.
Performances in 2002 included solo appearances with the Knoxville Symphony and Missouri Symphony orchestras, and she was also chosen to perform on the nationally syndicated “From the Top” radio program.
Chloé performs on a Carlo Landolfi violin, made in Italy. She also studies piano with Daredjan Kakouberi. Her other interests include figure skating, ballet, anime, unicorns and writing. Chloé lives in Dallas an |
