Artist History
The "BATTERI ACROBATICI" (Acrobatic Bacterium) started playing toghether officially the 26 december of 1999, in a room at the PIAMARTA's musical room with the help of Simone Nicotra (Keyboards player in the BEHOLDER). Having the possibility to practise for free Michele (Bass), Rita (Drums), Paolo (Voice), Gabro (Keyboards) and Damiano (Guitar) start playing seryously and writing the first songs... The feelings grows by playing, and from may 2000 the "Batteri" are able to have their first concerts. At september, the music room at Piamarta is closed for renewal, so there is a long pause without music... The renewal takes longer then prevented, so the band is forced to pay to keep practising.. The efforts and the expenses are rewarded, and when the old room is ready, the band keeps going in other private rooms to start practising two times a week. And from the first june, the concerts season starts again, with shows in Milan and in little villages outside the city. In the third rock festival in Basiglio, the "Batteri acrobatici" are the winner, and award a prize which will allow them to buy a new set of drums. Besides, the 12-6-2001, the band records the first demo cd, "Superskazzo". |
