Artist History
It all started in 1998, when Charlie and Chris were both recruited into a band known as "Unidentified Enemy" around the spring of 1999. This outfit consisted of Charlie on vocals and lead guitar, Eric Gravlin on rhythm guitar and bass, Chris on bass, and Anthony Low on drums. Unidentified Enemy changed its name to "Tainted Illusion" in late 1999 and played their first gig. The band thrived through the year 2000, albeit with a small personnel change(Eric left, leaving only three). By the time 2001 rolled around, TI was cruising. With several gigs under their belt, they played a New Years' Eve show on December 31, 2000 like no other. It was arguably the best show they put on. Alas, the band's success would only last another few months. By the time of their last gig in June 2001, Anthony had begun neglecting the project, and it even got to the point where Charlie and Chris had to go on for the June show without a drummer. This was Tainted Illusion's final gasp for breath. After a whole summer of missed practices by all band members, Anthony decided to leave to form a new outfit, called "One of Several", leaving Charlie and Chris behind. Now, the two former members of Tainted Illusion have joined forces with drummer Matt Reppucci(also the frontman for Jinx Nation) and formed Azura Six10. A new creative machine that will hopefully enjoy even more success than its predecesor. |
