Artist description
UltraMax is The Fusion Classical and Techno Music. In my compositions I blend classical music and orchestra sounds with the energy of electronic synthesis and power of the beat to create a new breed of electronic/techno music which is melodic, intelligent and dancey in the same time. |

Artist History
I began writing music in 1990. I was 16 years old and was madly in love with Veronica (6 years later she became my wife). Since I have a degree in piano performance I naturally started with piano. Then I discovered ScreamTracker that barely 'screamed' on 12MHz PC/AT. But I was in heaven. Then years later I got into Turtle Beach gear and in 1997 produced "The Temple of Me" CD that I hide from public due to poor quality of sound. I wrote quite a few song yet did not persuade antbody to do the vocals. The same year I've graduated from Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering with Masters in Computer Engineering and moved to U.S. (Tulsa, OK). There I slept for exactly 4 years until recent resurrection. Inspired by my friend and fellow-musician Lonnie Liggitt I decided to try writing music again. My other friend Joe Hershberger kindly provided me with all the software and sample CDs that I needed. Now I'm back on track, writing music when I get a chance (I have a full-time job as a computer consultant). I hope that you will enjoy my music and that I will eventually get a 'real' record out. |

Press Reviews
"Max moves unflinchingly between majors and minors, fifths and thirds, dramatically combining emotional melodies in a more learned style."
-- J Danos /Testube/
"He creates blissful electronics that have a techno feel mixed with classic touches. His music is intelligent and speaks in electronic beats. His music reminds me of a cross between Robert Miles and Moby."
-- Julie Johnson /Grave Concerns/
"...expecting the usual trance/techno stuff and was pleasingly surprised...Consequential (Classical mix), Sweet Harp, Veronica, and Good Life......all of these songs gave me chills when I listened to them"
