Artist description Loren Patrick Swan Jr. is an enrolled member of the Coeur d'Alene Tribe of Northern Idaho. He is a retired fire fighter, and currently works with American Indian youth as a mentor. With the belief that all is sacred, and that art is more than just a painting or a song, Loren produces an art of the wind. His flutes are prayer tools. When Loren prays with his flutes, he wishes to agree with the prayers of his listeners, and to help send all prayers to God, whose beautiful grace will fill our needs as He wills.e
