Artist description We produce music purely through a passion for doing so - we don't restrict ourselves to any specific genre, nor do we set out purely to impress a target group of listeners.

Music Style Though we primarily produce melodic trance as a duo, on our own we occasionally venture into other genres such as chillout and DnB.

Musical Influences We are collectively influenced by a large number of artists, in particular Armin van Buuren, Michael Woods, Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten.

Similar Artists Some of our tracks feature elements similiar to those used in Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten productions.

Artist History We initially formed a partnership producing with a commercial piece of software called Music 2000, by Jester Interactive. After a while we both moved onto Propellerheads Reason, at which point we adopted the 'Echano' name. We now continue to produce using Reason 2.

Group Members Echano is 'Shep', 16 years old from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, and 'MaRt', 17 years old from Newbury, Berkshire.

Instruments All of our music production is done in Propellerheads Reason, with occasional help from additional software.
