Artist History
Hey hey. Duckhunt started out in the summer of 2001, although we werent originally Duckhunt. It started off Steve on drums, Jay on Guitar and vocals and Eric on bass. We were originally The Ramen Noodles, but that name faded quickly and we started calling ourselves Duckhunt, and it stuck. So we were 3 guys playing in a basement. We started off doing covers, and eventually started to write our own music. Well we got a chance to go record and jumped at the chance. We went in and recorded 7 songs in 8 hours, it was a long day. With our first real show coming up we were pumped. Then on the Thursday before our saturday show, Eric Stone was in a bad car accident. He broke his neck and almost every bone from his waist down, it was terrible. He was in ICU and definately not able to play. We luckily got a guy from a different local band to learn a bunch of songs in two days. The show went on but, we did not play to our potential. With Eric in the hospital and not being able to play for a long long while, we knew we needed a replacement. We quickly picked up Joe Ice. And thats where we are now. Hopefully Eric will get out of the hospital soon, but until then, Joe is our man. Good Luck Eric, Feel Better Soon. |
