Artist description My music is written basically for me, with Blowsight we look upon things at a different angle, while Another Mind is a more egocentric perspective. This my mellower music. I love to play anyhing from Jazz/funk (Joe Pass ruled) to brutal Metal such as Strapping Young Lad, Meshuggah & Entombed.

Artist History 'Another Mind' is a oneman project featuring the guitarist from 'Blowsight'. Anyway, I would like to thank the few friends who've told me what they truly thought about the songs. You know who you are! As for some people who don't know sh*t about MY music and what I do with it; I am SO sorry, I tried, I really did, but couldn't take the compliments seriously...It would be like Jennifer Lopez walking up to Fredrik Thordendal and started talking about polyrythms and really complex music. I am 19 years old, I live in Sweden, and this is the music that more and more grow into me. Although it's not the music I enjoy playing live, it's music that don't turn me into a complete wreck (due to daily obstacles). You don't have to create a riff that goes for 3000 notes a minute, you can have four chords in one song and still make it great, a good example is ZZ Top (haha...) . I only own a couple of popalbums actually (almost the entire Radiohead-backcatalouge), but one need-to-comment-album is the debut album by 'Turin Brakes'. They produce something new that really appeal to me, since they make easy pop sound interesting, witch can be really hard nowadays with all these boring, "oh-poor-me"pop music I hear whenever I give the radiostations another try (THEN STOP LISTENING TO THAT CRAP THEN, NIKLAS!!). Also a lot of respect to Mike Patton, Björk, Devin Townsend (genius #1, from SYL), Led Zeppelin and Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails). My brother and I play a lot at home where we have a so called homestudio. That's where these demosongs come from. Although, the music I write in Another Mind is not the music Blowsight is playing. Blowsight is playing a harder kind of music, while Another Mind is my mellower and more personal stuff.
