Artist description 1992 - Zefyr was formed in NYC by a bunch of high school students, who were looking for an outlet for their innate artistic inclinations. As years passed by, the line-up of Zefyr changed as drastically as their style of music. Zefyr Started out as a Heavy metal/hard rock band and went through many staged such as funk, soft rock, pop, and finally ended up in the broad catagory of fusion rock. The only two remaining members who were in the original line-up (1992) are Fuad Almuqtadir and Richard Modhu. The latest edition to zefyr are Paul Haleem on bass and Sadiul Moin on guitar/vocals.
