Artist History Mac Loving, Jr. is a talented artist who has been fighting the odds most of his life. Hearing impaired and undiagnosed vision problems in childhood, followed life threatening throat cancer during his rock days, Mac performs to the beat of a different drummer. ummer. Experimental surgery saved his life, but removed his voice for 2 years. His music is a combination of street sounds and classical formation. Each time you listen, you'll focus on a different layer in the music. He performs his multi-cultural, multi-generational music, to audiences everywhere. Mac tells stories and fills the void found in today’s music. His premiere CD, Soul To Keep, featuring Colors and Changes, has received national and international airplay and his untitled new material will take it to the next level. When home in Chicago, Mac can usually be found at the engineering console in the HumP Dyddi Cyti Recording Studio or performing in one of the many city or suburban clubs with his band, Soul 2 Keep, formerly Back To Earth. Previous bands include The Arc, P.H.D., and Loves Army. Mac was also a member of the Afro Latin Jazz group, the Pharaohs and The Brides of Funkenstein. He was also formerly the band director for Dennis Edwards and Otis Clay. Mac spent 3 years with the Black Ensemble Theater Orchestra. Mac is currently working with urban artists, Maddness, S & L, Fatal Disruption, and vocalists Suzan Chatims (R & B, Jazz and Gospel) Marian (R&B) and Jaunté (R&B). Mac and HumP Dyddi Cyti is currently riding the writing and production wave with several national radio commercials
