Artist description Brooklyn’s Honey Creeper is a band equally at home churning out tough guitar-driven rockers, quirky power pop, or open-tuned acoustic ballads. Their blend of headspace pop draws its influences from the Brit scene, down-low minimalist Americana, and "brothers in arms" guitar milk.

Group Members Honey Creeper was formed when guitarist/vocalist Matt Szwed, veteran of the NYC music scene as a member of Sound Advice, grew weary of producing other bands in the area. He heard the sound of his new band - a blend of ambient-rock soundscapes and intimate folk-inspired song structures that easily cohabitated the same sonic space. He would need simpatico musicians to flesh out this band. On bass, Jacob Feinberg-Pyne, an émigré from the bustling Rochester music scene, covers the lowest range of frequency with his perfect blend of melody and groove. Guitarist Mike Phillips, a reformed jazz/blues improviser, rediscovered the simple pleasures of rock and twang to lend the ringing telecaster tones that sweeten the verses and drive the choruses. To round out the quartet, Asif Khan keeps everything brewing with fire on the kit.
