Artist History Is 15 years too long to dream ? Following a brief but enjoyable stint in a very local cover band in the early 80’s, dave took his Rickenbacker bass home and retired to a life of 9 to 5 workdays and fun party nights, but soon thereafter the dream began to take shape and force its way into his consciousness. A one man band, writing, playing and recording his own songs . . the dream was good, but how to make it real ? Years went by, dave gets married, has a child, moves back to New York City, to the seventh floor of an apartment building on the banks of the Hudson River in upper Manhattan . . and still the dream lives. Dave begins to assemble some equipment – guitar, keyboards, PC drummer software (compromises were made), some electronic goodies and then, dave becomes davetharave and Flight of Ideas takes wing, with the help of Dr. Glo and inspired by Natalie Rose. First comes ‘That’s what the baby says’, an uplifting instrumental to break the ice, and now davetharave is on a roll, following the dream, living it . . loving it. Never stop dreaming !
