Artist description
We just want to have a good time, and hopefully convince some others to join us. SSRI is a Pop-punk band, you could say, but we stray outside of the Pop-punk genre here and there to let our diverse influences show through. For example, we incorporate elements of Calypso, Reggae, and Latin Music. |

Artist History
SSRI was called MegaTone Bomb until September 2001, when all of a sudden, that name took on many unintended negative connotations.
SSRI is a pop-punk band from New Jersey with a focus on infectious melodies, catchy guitar lines, an energetic stage show, and songs that you will find yourself singing in the car or shower the next day. Our original music incorporates rock, punk, and elements of reggae and calypso, invoking the feeling of summer all year round. Our mission is to give the crowd a great show and a reason to enjoy themselves.
We love to play, and it's evident in our shows, which encourage dancing, jumping, and banging your head all in the same set (except where prohibited by law, of course).
