Artist description Growing up in Philadelphia, a city with an exciting and diverse musical history, Jack Mathers has been a music lover since early childhood. Influenced by the rock, pop, jazz, and blues indigenous to his hometown, his musical tastes and talents reflect an interesting, unique amalgam of styles.

Artist History Jack spent nearly 2 decades as a bass guitarist and singer, playing the Philly scene with local bands including Legacy, Xcalibur, Sindicate, and Illuminati. But local venues want bands to cover songs patrons can "dance and sing along with," leaving little room for the creative artist to express himself. Inevitably, Jack became frustrated with gigging and retreated to the studio to focus on his original work. The marriage of his onstage experience and his own creative vision has given birth to a unique sound. Never trite or contrived, Jack’s music is powerful, melodic, and groove-driven. Through it shine his diverse influences and his deep passion for the art itself.

Group Members Jack's creative talents are as well-rounded as his musical influences. An accomplished musician, and inspired singer/songwriter, he shares his vision and bares his heart and soul through his lyrics. In addition to writing, singing, and performing, Jack also arranges, records, and produces his music. Now we know where they came up with the term "Jack of all trades!"
