Artist History in 1993 when british acts like curve, lush, verve and adorable have entered the british music-scene claudy started writing songs for sup with pluto - "boredom and outcast made me being creative" she says. the influence of this period is to sup with pluto clearly recognizeable . and that’s good. her compositions are basicly aimed to be rather minimalistic. in the beginning there’s always a simple, but beautiful melody accompanied by an guitar. four chords are good- three are better. added to this are lyrics with brains and honesty that are simply delicious. she is oriented in "pop" but adds a wide range of styles and timbres to her music. she made use of elements from the stylish early 80s as well as of all other eras of popmusic as long as they fit into her philosophy "cool and sexy". whether lofi-aesthetics a la „no one can touch us inside" ,an opulent science fiction fairy tale a la "pet my drug" or simply a splendid earwig chorus like in "beautiful world" - sup with pluto never loses the thread. popmusic deals above all with taste. sup with plutos live performance is in a class of its own. the reason is mainly claudy herself. she sounds and performs in her own style. she’s symply a type. telling romantic storys and being quite good at it. she’s one that is very present, brings in her own taste and yet she doesnt take herself too important. claudy is exactly the type of girl that cause the boys (and not only the boys!) in the first rows to go off in a faint...
