    Artist description
    SKIN & SNAKES recruited its members out of the two rock-groups "BLACK SMOKE" and HELTER SKELTER" in sommer 2000. HELTER SKELTER, Jochen Thoma, Rafael Biniek & Manuel Elsesser were involved before, already played straight ROCK, Covers and some own compositions at the Umsonst & Draußen in Würzburg and at the Rockpalast (Würzburg). Drummer Volker Thoma, Jochens little brother, belonged to BLACK SMOKE, a Rock'n'Roll-Cover-Band,too. Shortly after the founding the band from Wuerzburg/Marktheidenfeld (Germany) played its debut-gig in the Cafe Cairo/Wuerzburg. Already their second performance in November 2000 was rewarded with position #1 at a rock-band-challenge called "Rockin MSP". In March 2001 SKIN & SNAKES finished working on their first demo-cd.
