Artist description
Robert Bruce Montgomery is a singer/songwriter based in the Chicago area.
Montgomery writes infectious acoustic based numbers and is currently crafting original material for a childrens' music album.
Montgomery produces his songs utilizing a strange ar ray of incompatible musical recording equipment all strung together with feathers and duct tape. This gear seems to function as nothing more than an overblown dication machine and his wife is pretty sure he's been swindled by a local music store.
Montgomery winds up playing all the instruments and singing on most of songs not because he thinks he's really all that great - just that the spontaneous obssesive-compulsive madness he exhibits during the creation of a song seems to drive most rational people away....
He's occasionally spotted with one hand on a guitar, the other on a bright orange knob and his feet strapped to silly looking pedals)
A few brave souls (chiefly his brother Jon) are ocassionally willing to collaborate with Robert. If only to humor him... |
