Artist History Angel Tears formed in fall of 2000 in the serene landscape of the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia; after Jonathan Staubus and Chad Hanger met while at college. The two instantly began writing songs together, and created a style of music all of their own. Jonathan brought in his brother Jeremy Staubus to play bass and good friend Victor Ritchie to play drums. With their unique blend of sounds and intense stage show Angel Tears built a cult following. In 2002 Chad Hanger left the band to play solo. But Chad leaving the band did not hold Angel Tears down. Angel Tears continue to write and play songs, waiting for their chance to break out into the spotlight!!!
