Artist History Sahlene grew up in the small Swedish town Soderhamn, two hours north of Stockholm. As a child she starred as the main character in director Lasse Hallstroms(My Life As A Dog, What's Eating Gilbert Garpe) "The Children of Bullerbyn". Moving to Stockholm in the mid 90's, her musical dream started to develop, first as back-up singer and sooner to lead her first band; Rhythm Avenue. Leaving the band in '98, she toured with several of Sweden's biggest acts(mostly R'nB' and dance) until signing her first solo deal with Roadrunner Arcade Music Sweden. And now Shalene's ready to introduce you to the coolest rock album of the new century, title The Little Voice.
