We're rudypat. We're a rock'n'roll band from Harrison, Ohio. We play music because we're all pals. We're just three average guys trying to do the best that we can w/ the resources and ideas we hold at this time in our lives. Rusty writes all the songs, Pat works for minimum wage, and Matt smokes way too much. Thanks for taking an interest in us.

    Artist History
The band originally began w/ Pat on guitar and Rusty on bass. We sounded A LOT like the Ramones We figured it'd be best to have Rusty play guitar since he's much better than Pat. Pat switched to bass without skipping a beat. After that, we actually became a half-way decent band. Now we sound A LOT like Hum.

    Press Reviews
'Twas the spring of 1958 (or was it 2000?), and the winds of discontent started blowing in the tiny burg of Harrison, Ohio. No longer happy with endless nights at Waffle House or the bowling alley, the kids of Harrison needed a little ROCK ACTION to get them through the day. So, one of these kids, a rather large one as a matter of fact, by the name of Patrick Wright (a/k/a Big Baby Jesus, a/k/a Rudy Pat) picked up his bass, and a 40 of Olde English, and was struck with inspiration. "Hey, why don't we start a band!" He immediately called two of his pals, Russell Morris (a/k/a Osiris, a/k/a Les Planks) and Matthew Ayers (a/k/a Ol' Dirt Dog, a/k/a DJ Tuff Cuddles, a/k/a Matty Ramone), who happened to have a guitar and some drums. The three mischief-makers planned incessantly, seeking total world domination as their goal. Osiris, born with a guitar in his hand as a result of a freak cloning accident, was thrust into the lead-singer position due to his dashing good looks. They decided to name their band rudypat, as this was the new millenium, and frankly, all the good names were taken. Fueled by beer, weed, and crank, the fledgling band looked to their Saints, Ramones, and Dillinger Escape Plan records for inspiration, and create a sloppy, yet endearing mix of rock 'n' roll and nudity. From their first show, rudypat has gained a rep for being one of the most exciting bands around. Just ask them. Recorded on a 4 track in about 20 minutes, their debut demo tape "Crosby Road" created a stir in the Cincinnati punk rock scene. This wasn't yer grandma's punk rock. They followed up the triumphant release with a ton of shows in Harrison and Cincinnati. If there was a basement party with free drugs and loose women, they'd be there. But they needed something to hang their hat on, a compact disc. And this, my friends, is that CD. The band laid down 6 tracks, some re-recorded from their debut, some new, in a frenzied display of raw power. Manning the knobs was Mark Van Patten, guitarist from fellow Harrison powerhouses .bye.for.now. Once finished, the band couldn't help but notice something was missing. "Only 6 songs on a CD!?!?" It was up to Ol' Dirt Dog to rise to the occasion. He swallowed a broken whiskey bottle in one gulp, channelled the spirit of his legendary grandfather Palestine Tillman Ayers, and led the band in a version of Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues." All hail the new breed of Wild Harrison Ohio Rock Excitement (WHORE)! These three men have made rock 'n' roll their lives, and they're about to tell you why.... --Zach B.
