Artist description Lisa Linehan always dreamed of being a singer. She followed a professional path and worked as a financial analyst in New York, London and Los Angeles. An epiphany during an emergency plane landing led her to become a full-time singer/songwriter. Her musical influences include Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos, Alanis Morissette, and Natalie Merchant. Lisa is the soprano in Grace, the L.A. based four-part female a cappella group. Grace's credits include performing at a benefit with Dick Van Dyke. Lisa is also a background vocalist for L.A. based acts and a demo singer. She recently recorded "Beautiful Day" for the Vitamin Records CD, "An Ethereal Tribute to U2." Lisa has performed original and a cappella music at L.A. venues such as The Knitting Factory, Highland Grounds, Westwood Brewing Company, 14 Below, The Starlight Bowl and Genghis Cohen. Lisa is a member of the Recording Academy and a mentor for the GRAMMY Foundation. Performance highlights include singing The National Anthem for two L.A. Dodgers home games and for The L.A. Clippers at STAPLES Center.
