Artist History Born in Stockholm, and based in London. Studied music at Berklee College of Music, in Boston. During her years at Berklee, iA began to write her own material. Since then iA has been writing and performing in various constalations. iA's sound is frequently described as "modern soul infused with traditional jazz" It is at once accessible, groovy, thoughtful and memorable. All of her songs tell stories about different aspects of life (hers as well as others), and it is easy to relate to what she's saying on a very personal level. Jazz is still a very important part of iA's musical personality and sound, and it adds a refreshing twist to her singing style - one not ordinarily heard in today's modern singers. This is but one of many distinctions that make iA such a unique and talented performer.
