Artist description Chivo is Linus Eriksson and Martin Frostberg. We met in the band Preston, where Linus played drums, synth and provided backing vocals while Martin did the singing. Soon we discovered our mutual interest in singer/songwriter music and soft pop and decided to make something out of it. The name Chivo comes from an article in a feminist magazine about women in Latin America. It’s the opposite to macho and is being shouted in the streets to men who has been cheated by their wives. We write and play our music at Linus place in Stockholm with lots of love, pizza and videogames. Linus plays most of the instruments and Martin does the singing and the lyrics.
