Albums Unity Within Trauma

Press Reviews Bloc. They brought hardcore to another level on friday. Kev on drums took control of the beats on time and perfect all night. Guitarists Sky and Tom took the reigns with unbelievable riffs. Ever think of how you'd want a song to sound to be real hardcore, well listen to Tom and Sky on guitar and you have your song. Tom by the way is the hell bent 7 foot tall lunatic seen on usually the left side of the stage. Bass player Twzst is nothing short of one majorly talented individual. His hardcore jazz pluck style of playing bass puts him in a league of his own. I hate to compare with other people, but Twist is on a RyKnow from Mudvayne level. Spin Master Drew, the DJ, add an exceptional dimension to the hardcore sound. And on Friday, which was completely cool by the way, he did a stage dive. I love it. The real pull of it all on Friday came from lead singer Dave. He is amazing, simple as that. When it comes to singing his voice is enough to bring tears to your eyes, even when pitting and his scream is so thick and brutal its hard to believe its coming from a guy of that size (no offense Dave, i mean it in a good way!). Friday nite bLoc was great, unfortunately attitudes took over and a fight broke out in the crowd, significantly shrinking the crowd. But did bLoc stop, NO. In what was one of the coolest things i've seen in music, they finished their set, even though most of the people got kicked out. Awesome.
