Artist description Kevin Rankin (aka Ike VonEsper) has been writing, recording, and preforming with various groups for years (most notable Putty Root (mp3.com/PuttyRoot), Project Mayhem (mp3.com/PMayhem), Evil Kitty (mp3.com/EvilKitty), SCAM (mp3.com/SxCxAxMx), and Maniac McGee (mp3.com/Maniac_McGee)) but the roots of his music lie into these demos, these songs. VonEsper was created out of a need for an outlet for the piles of demos recorded throughout the years, some of which we're later used in his other bands. All of these songs were written and preformed entirely by Kevin himself, unless specifically noted with a drum machine as a programed backbeat. These songs are recorded as demos and should be listened to as demos. Many times, the recordings will not match the potential of the song.
