Artist description
THE RESULT: Shanghai is a four-piece melodic rock band from Connecticut. Last year the band released their debut record "Take another Bite", which was well received by the music press. The band wasted no time and is back with a brand new album titled "Bombs Away". The result is a huge step forward in the songwriting department, musicianship, and the production. Shanghai delivers a perfect mix of melodic vocals with hard driving music. The new album will easily showcase four radio singles: "Show me the way", "Life in the motion", "Through these eyes", and "Love has it's reasons". There is no doubt that the diversity and quality of "Bombs Away" is up there with today's best! The proof is in the pudding, so give it a listen. Sink your teeth into the new album and get hooked! With this release, Shanghai is ready to take on the world, so take cover! Bombs Away!
HIGHLIGHTS: "Bombs Away" was produced and mixed by James Christian (House of Lords) and Jeff Cannata. Mike Duda (currently with WASP) flew in to play all bass lines on the record. Robin Beck sang a vocal duet with Jayde entitled "Through These Eyes".
