    Artist History
Born in Francisco Beltrao PR, Brazil, on January 21st 1975 and raised in Curitiba PR, Brazil, were he studied and graduated in law in 1998, R'Zancchet started playing the guitar at the age of thirteen years old. Two years later, he and some friends (Daniel Virmond: guitar, "Beto" Gandolfi: keyboards, "Zegui" Urban: bass, and "Gus" Moraes Barros: drums) started playing together at the house of "Beto" Gandolfi. A while after, R'Zancchet left the band. His friends, differently, continued playing together and still do so nowadays. Their band is called "Mangoego". "Beto" Gandolfi changed from the keyboards to the drums, taking the place of "Gus" Moraes Barros, who also has left the band. Daniel Virmond still plays the guitar and "Zegui" Urban still plays the bass. "Vamp" is the new component of the group and plays the guitar (they all sing). These guys really rule! Well, back to R'Zancchet, although not very talentous playing the guitar, the artist always liked to make his own compositions, making lyrics over simple guitar chords, talking about people and places that took part in his life. He never thought though about recording those simple songs. Then, in the year 2000, R'Zancchet got to know about an important musical contest that was going to take place at "Rede Globo", an important Brazilian broadcast television network, and decided to participate in the contest with one of his songs, called "Lesson". To do so however, it was necessary to have a CD recorded with the song for the selection of the participants of the contest. So, R'Zancchet looked for somebody to help him to record "Lesson" and that was when Negendre Arbo, of the WS - Workstation Multimedia Center in the city of Foz do Iguacu (where R'Zancchet was living by that time), appeared on the scene. R'Zancchet recorded the basis of "Lesson" at the WS studio and Negendre Arbo made the harmonization of the song. The song never got to be selected for the contest, but R'Zancchet kept in mind the proposal of Negendre Arbo for recording a CD with other songs of his authory. Then, one day in the month of may of the year 2000, when R'Zancchet was about to leave Brazil for extension studies in economics in the USA, he was playing the song "In my life" of the Beatles, in a different rithm, and noticed that the lyrics of that song had a lot to do with what was going on in his own life. And so, R'Zancchet decided to accept the proposal of Negendre Arbo to record a CD with all the other songs he had wrote since his adolescence, songs that talked about important places and people of his life. Therefore, a hundred copies of the CD "Seguindo Viagem" ("Keep on Travelling" in English) were made at the WS - Workstation Multimedia Center and R'Zancchet gave all of them to his friends and relatives before travelling to Colorado, where he was going to study at the Colorado State University (CSU). In the end of his first semester at CSU, R'Zancchet got to know about an interesting study program at the Boston University School of Law, an LLM in Banking and Financial Law, which matched better his academic interests than the regular college program in economics at CSU. He came back to Brazil then, and in July of 2001 he travelled back to the USA to study at Boston University. Meanwhile, he wrote some other songs, and, before going to Boston, he talked to Negendre Arbo again in order to record the new songs. The result of these recordings was the CD "The Trip Goes On", which is composed of eleven songs of the "Seguindo Viagem" album (all of the songs of the album except "In my life" and "Waiting for a better day") and other nine new songs: "The trip goes on", "Mosquitoes! Close the door!", "Vivindo el momento", "A ponte", "Lady Naihana", "Let it flow", "Comida Enlatada", "Pagode da cerveja" e "Oracao do Par".
