    Press Reviews
ShutEye Records E.P. Review - This little EP is mysterious. The most potent song, 'Sigh', could be a truly dynamic single. College radio would eat it up. It is one sonically charged orchestral emotion. The vocals are both haunted and alien, as well as the string arrangements. They all blend in a hypnotic wonder driven by rock guitars and hard drums. It's like sleeping on a space ship that's out of control and tumbling. People could become lost in this music. Able to soak in it for days. “Sigh” Single Review by Jonathon Sanders @ Godsofmusic.com - Alan has a sound you rarely hear anymore. Their sound is different, edged creatively and sonically daring, featuring interesting combinations of instruments, edgy beat combinations and time signatures, combining to form a musical concept that is worth as many listens as you are willing to give. In my case, that's going to be a lot. With "Sigh", they are sure to make a splash in the music industry. With it's rocking guitars, solid percussion, and daring use of violin to bolster their sound, and featuring beautifully performed vocals, "Sigh" is the kind of song I haven't heard in a long time, something I regret to say, but also something that will add to the pull of "Alan". Listen to this song, people! I give this song my seal of approval. I hope to hear "Alan" making it big; it's certainly worthy of MTV's "Buzzworthy" label!
