Artist History
Musically, I have been influenced by the typical alternative-rock style of music; Matthew Good Band, Tori Amos, Imogen Heap. I have spent the last three years at Concordia University specializing in sound, I discovered a curiosity for electroacoustic music and I hope I'll be able to share some of the projects I've been working on. As well as this, my literary influences include Margaret Atwood, Jeanette Winterson, Sylvia Plath and Camille Paglia. |

Press Reviews
Sparse, urgent compositions rely on piano to set the mood and Tony Vaughan's spectral vocals
to flesh them out. A lot like Kate Bush's stuff, without all the squeaking and screeching. - Kali Holloway / Tony Vaughan is the perfect piano man for a stormy day- soft vocals, very cerebral lyrics and piano arrangements that fit each song so perfectly, they're almost brought together by outside
unknown forces. "Milk and Honey's Revenge" has some Tori Amos and Bjork influences, but only Vaughan's vocals can make t hese poems sing. - Radio StonewallĖ |
