Artist History The Flashing Lights started as a side project for Super Friendz frontman Matt Murphy. Murphy, and high school friend, Henri Sangalang, began playingsixties cover songs by the Who, the Kinks and theYardbirds. After the Super Friendz broke up, Murphymade the Flashing Lights a full-time pursuit.
