Artist History A Room With A View has been a staple in the Philadelphia music scene for several years. The brainchild of drummer Chris Cemini and vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Dennis Kerns, the band first exploded onto the scene in 1993 with the release of Shattered, A Room With A View's first CD. With the addition of keyboardist / bassist Mike Gregos, RWV toured the East Coast of the United States in support of that album. The result was a mature, unique musical style that separated the band from any of the other acts existing at that time. Constant touring and production on new material were the catalysts for the evolutionary process that would take RWV to the next plateau. Though RWV experienced some line-up changes in the next couple of years, the core unit of Kerns-Cemini stayed intact. With the addition of keyboardists Dan Lieberman and Rich Martin, guitarist Stan Blazak, and waveform manipulator Chuck Reese, the band was complete and ready for the next stage. With enough material for a second CD, RWV entered Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia, PA to record tracks for :reGRESSION. Under the watchful eye of Grammy-Award winning producer/engineer, David Ivory, RWV laid the building blocks for what was to be their musical coup d' etat.
