Artist History
Rob and Steve met in high school and soon discovered eachother's vocal talents. Working together to write piano based R&B tunes, the two
formed a bond through music and friendship. They progressed and sang at churches and youth outreaches. As time went by- they decided to
add Mike (Steve's younger brother) in order to create a more diverse sound. At the end of Steve's senior year, he and Rob had decided to
put together a more rock based song. They decided to pull in a bass player and Mike to perform the song for the school. It went over quite
well with the students. The next day they heard their classmates reciting the lyrics to their song titled "Will I Say No?" After writing
another song together with the four-man setup, the three young men decided to form a band, at that time they were called the Green Lackeys.
They put together a short set and played at a number of churches and youth rallies. As Mike was the last to graduate high school- the band
felt a strong pull from the Lord to start taking the band more seriously. They were now beginning to feel the calling of God to change their
Christian band into a budding ministry. The three decided to record in the studio and reluctantly put college on hold. The band sparked some
interest and gained a contract with Vessel Management. The song writing began to expand and move deeper within the souls of the three members,
and time for change was decided. The band decided to change their name to Paging Paul. The addition of another guitar player, Tony, and a new
bass player, Joe Sharp (best friend of Mike)completed the unfinished puzzle to create what the band has become today. Paging Paul is beginning
to play throughout Florida, and is preparing for a much larger picture. Growing in popularity, the band is working arduosly
on making their live show even better. |
