Overstated? Music means a lot to me and when I find something that touches that rock and roll place inside, I forget about everything else and turn my heart over to whoever is responsible for the beautiful music that's playing at that moment.Rockateen--PsychedelicI love psychedelic; regardless of race, genre, religion, or musical depositon, (I'm gibbering!) I love this song! The music sparkles, the vocals are immaculate, (I don't know what that means, but I remember the virgin Mary was immaculate, so......)Taken as a whole the whole thing is a flawless piece....It's one of those songs that doesns't bear scrutiny because it should only be taken as a whole. Perfect pop songs are not only of, but above the world. You really can't or shouldn't say, "the music this" or "the vocals that". because it's 3 minutes of bliss. Sort of like how sex is bliss and who the hell wants their sex analyzed. Or love. Or a well cooked meal. You take it for what it is and enjoy it.Precious--This is also excellent. You guys have listed some groups as influences that I'm not all that familiar with and since you're claiming psychedelic I'm going to give you some influences from the first wave that you may not be aware of though you sort of sound like you should....you know. Obvious ones are the First Pink Floyd album and Crown of Creation by Jefferson Airplane. Then there's Ultimate Spinach, Fever Tree, The United States of America, Peanut Butter Conspiracy,Alexanders Timeless Blooz Band, Clear Light, It's A Beautiful Day, QUicksilver Messenger Service, The first Country Joe and The Fish,oh boy once I get started on these 60's bands it's hard to stop. If anybody out there has any of this stuff let me know.Teenage Shootin' BluesGood fucked-up beat and a miasma of unsolvable sounds. The vocals are starting to remin me a little of that Jesus and Mary Chain style but in your own way. What's the dif between Indie and Psychedelic? Either one sounds divine from you guysStillI'd have to be a seer or a prophet to prognosticate what will be next with this bunch. Here we have a bit of a drone done with your apparently endless pop savvy-- married to a shrewd and nimble beat that can't be described--must be heard. Words can't be expected to properly describe sounds that evoke such admiration and emotion.Chain--I'm running out of superlatives. (Get out the Thesaurus) Lester Dreams exudes canny sagacity with their fervid lyrical enthusiasticalness while the band deals out seemingly common chord changes with such profound judiciousness that in the end-well rounded masterpieces are dispersed to the surprise of no one......Oh the hell with it this is another great fucking song.THINGSI decided to study the lyrics on this one and came to the conclusion that while it seems to be an ordinary love song on one level you people are daft on all levels.Casino Hotel--Saxaphones? A little Hip hop technology? Some different elements with the same ending.A very listenable enjoyable tune. I love all of this but I can see some people saying that the vocals are similar on many of the songs; but those people are in really crappy bands that try too hard. Keep up the great work.
