Press Reviews
Following will appear in issue # 35 of IMPROVIJAZZATION NATION 'zine, dueout (in print) end-November to mid-December:Kaos Choir: RICHARD III - S'pose th' title of this tape is sort of agive-away… Shakespeare-based electronic operettas like none YOU'VE everheard! This is WAY kewl stuph! Ralph Russo is th' primary, withbackup/additional vox by Alex Hall on two toonz! Strong percussion is aforte for speeches & rawk-in undercurrents! "Powerglide" is an excellentexample of that, will wrap ya' up in itz' undertow & feed yer' to th'sharkz in grand fashion. Would've been nice to get a bit more info onRalph, even a snail address, but yer' can't have it ALL at once, I guess! My only complaint is that th' tape was WAY too short (REALLY only 4 pieces, just like th' j-sheet sed)… we wanna' hear MORE next time! Gets aRECOMMENDED for those who like th' idea of orchestral rock!
