Artist History The KAJE music project saw its beginnings with a literal marriage of talents. Art and Karen Gagnier, founders of KAJE, first performed together as a vocal/piano duo before their own marriage in 1985. The formation of a dance band was a natural off-shoot of their active wedding ceremony bookings and in 1993 the Gagnier's formed a cover band called RARE FORM. In 1994 Art and Karen began basic tracks for "Woman in a Kaje" using RARE FORM musicians complimented by other Bay Area professionals. By 1997 they had fully devoted their time to the KAJE project resulting in the 1999 release of "Woman in a Kaje". KAJE's founders both hold degrees in music and are currently working on the next CD release.
