Artist History
Trained in classical western music and with a degree in musical composition, David Bruce Hughes has been playing multicultural jazz and traditional world music styles professionally since the 60s. After a 12 year education and transformation living as a monk in India and studying their musical traditions, David has integrated a vast knowledge of the classical Raga into a unique musical form. For David 'New Age Music' began in 1978 with a 'Hearts of Space' broadcast which won him the attention of many followers. He has been providing uplifting, spiritual musical experiences to listeners around the world ever since. |
