    Press Reviews
"My Girl (Anomaly Seven's Girl)" was featured in Electronic with the words "This tune will cure all that ails you" and subsequently hit No 1. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Anomaly Seven is also a current featured artist on mp3.com's own Digital Drive Thru: "Consider Anomaly Seven the Eat Static of MP3.com. Hailing from Scotland, Anomaly Seven’s first CD, Ode to the Anomalous, was a twisted blend of fantasy and alien experimentation. His latest effort, Anomalised, is a remix collection featuring Anomaly’s best reinterpretations. The standout track, "My Girl (Anomaly 7’s Girl)" was one the most downloaded Featured Songs in MP3.com Electronic history. . . . . . . . . . ."Review of "The Shredder" by EDGEMERE: "Ok we start with almost B-grade horror movie sounding organ - heh heh (this also continues through-out the song, but doesn;t take over the mix). 1:30 - negative feedback(?) fucking with my head - I got a headache - it's not helping - but it's very cool sounding - yes i like (we get it again later too). 1:40 bassline hits - nothing special, but get the floor moving along with the 4-on-the-floor percussion. While the basic rhythms drive the boggie-woogie of this tracks - we are presented with fx sounds, almost-creepy pad sounds, and some nice melodies. 2:30 a break in the relentless bass/percussion assult - a groove is still there, enough to give the crowd a rest. 3:20 - that feedback again! whoa - drives you right back into the main rhythm + plus the little laser sounds. Now were really hitting creepy sounds around 4:00 - the track IS getting darker - cool cool cool. We are getting new melodies introduced at 4:30. WHOA! 4:40 those crazy bleeps & blops - THATS COOL! OK about 5:10 the climax - got the same driving 4/4 & bassline - but we have a new mixture of closing melodies and the snare rush takes you into that feedback again & b-grade organ horror ending. ahhhhh - yes download this - I DIG IT - and you floor movers should really dig it too...."
