    Artist History
"GOD'S GONNA CRY," a song written by Pittsburgh native Tim Grealish, came to life in response to the World Trade Center attack in New York City. Tim's idea was to record his song with some of the city's finest musicians published on MP3.com, the world's biggest MP3 site. The group of artists, which calls itself "PACT," or "Pittsburgh Artists Combating Terrorism," also recorded a second song written by keyboardist B.J. Collins, entitled "COLD RAIN." This eclectic group includes singer-songwriter Tim Grealish, drummer Doug Deets, and guitarist Joshua Smith, all from the band MORGAN GREALISH. The group also features Pittsburgh guitar great JOHN FIORE, who amazes audiences with sizzling virtuoso performances. Keyboardist B.J. Collins plays piano and organ on the PACT CD, but B.J. is better known for his performances in Pittsburgh area churches and coffeehouses with his band, SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN. The PACT lineup is rounded out by Max Woodhall, the popular bass player who has performed for many years with his club band, THE RHYTHM ADVENTURERS. "GOD'S GONNA CRY" is a poignant rock anthem dedicated to the victims of the World Trade Center attacks. It was recorded at Anything Audio Studio. The North Side studio features the talents of Dave Bjornson and James Kopaz, both respected sound engineers known for their ability to turn music into magic. The group's second song, "Cold Rain" was produced by B.J. Collins and John Fiore, and it communicates a powerful message to the families of victims and the thousands of volunteers who have come to their aid. The group's founder, Tim Grealish said, "There are plenty of ways to help these people, but as artists, we can reflect on what people are feeling and express it musically. All Americans want to chip-in and help. We're doing it our way. Music is universal, it's life-affirming." Pittsburgh Artists Combating Terrorism believes that your heart will be touched by this music.
