Artist History
GBB started in the Spring of 2000 when singer/songwriter Chris Byerly
and guitarist Clint Newcom began work on a demo. Newcom shared the
demo with bassist Chris Harris. Harris shared the demo with drummer
Jason Adams whom he played with in a previous band named Signal.
Harris and Adams decided to play on the demo after asking keyboard
player Tom Lewis to join them. The 5 all initially met for the first
time in the studio to record their first demo. After 6 months of
recording and live performances, they finally finished their first
CD entitled One Sphered Circus in June of 2001. Harris then left
the band to pursue other interests. The 4 remaining members then
were introduced to bassist Jeff Collett, to complete the line up
of the Griffin Byerly Band. |
