Artist History Detached was originally formed by Bob G.(who at the time was guitarist and lead vocals), Bob B., and Brandon at the end of June, 2000 after a call from Mike at the 1-2-4 Music Store in Maryville, MO. He spoke with Bob G about playing in a show he was setting up in Tarkio, and asked if he thought we could get enough material to play. With a weeks notice, detached wrote their first six songs to be played at the show. Josh was later added as lead vocals sometime inbetween August and October, and played his first show on Halloween. The band has since been adding to their collection of songs after killing over a dozen they decided they didn't like. Mitch has just recently been added and is in the process of learning material.
