Artist History I played drums for 5 years with a local rock band in Libertyville, IL called "Icon-x". In 2000, Icon-x broke up and we all went our different ways and joined different bands. I ended up and college and began playing and writing music like my life depended on it. Since i didn't seem to have anyone around who seemed interested in playing music, i decided that I would play all the instruments by myself... which later turned into me playing all of the rhythm instruments and getting friends and ex-bandmates to do leads. In the summer of 2001, I recorded a 9 song demo and released it independantly to a select few. The album was called "Mantra" and was just an attempt to see what kind of reaction I would get to my songs. After mantra, I started writing more and more for the real release, entitled Divide. In the late summer of 2001, Divide was finished and released on my own label, Crimson Rain Records.
