Artist History
The greatest Rock-n-Roll story ever told:
Couchboy got together in the spring of 2001 in an effort to further their rockingoutedness. Made up of three fat rednecks, drummist Zac Martin, bassist Thomas Leonard, and guitarer Josh "The Yeti" Nibert, who love to make loud music and have some fun, Couchboy is a skate punk band that is influenced by bands like Pennywise, Metallica, and Bad Religion. The band emphasizes fast guitars, bass solos, and dual vocalists, all held together by the lightning quick hands and feet of Martin.
Couchboy loves to play and loves their fans, both of them. The live show is always light-hearted and fun, encouraging the audience to participate in covers and original songs alike. The band has also played at a number of venues in southwest VA and TN.
The band will record its next EP in the winter of 2003, and plans on seeking independent label representation to help them dominate the world with the Devil's music. |
