Artist History Tied Down exists since September 1996 and is formed by ex members from ‘Devoted To Hate' and ‘Juniper Hill'. They have combined their Hard-Core/Punk and Metal influences and became one strong force. Bands like D.R.I., Attitude Adjustment, Judge and Nuclear Assault can be seen as influences amongst others. The music they create is like a pitbull on the loose. Sometimes really fast and other times slow and heavy. In the coming years they played well received shows with Blood For Blood, Agnostic Front, Kickback, Victimized and Devoted To Hate. After the first demo Tied Down worked on their first cd "Control". This cd was released by themselves in the beginning of 1999. 15 killer tracks were recorded in the Sing Sing studios in Metslawier. The cd got good reviews in the underground and Onno Cro-Mag from Aardschok Magazine gave it a 8.5 out of 10! Guitar player Dictus left the band and Michel joined soon afterwards. The band didn't loose anything on their impact and is still going strong. In September 2001 they released another fine cd, again released by themselves. This one is called "Paddle To The Metal" and contains 9 bonecrushing songs. This cd was also recorded in the Sing Sing studios and recorded by Milan Ciric and Tied Down.
