Artist description Misty Rae is a young Texas singer, songwriter and ASCAP publisher with a refreshing, new sound. Her style adapts well to both new country and to more traditional sounds. She recently opened fro Ray Price, Whisperin' Bill Anderson and will be opening for Porter Wagoner this Summer. Misty Rae started singing at small town Oprys in and around the North Texas Area. Her musical sphere grew as she began playing the piano and guitar. She started songwriting a few years ago and has had the opportunity to collaborate on songs with Grammy Nominated Artist Katherine Dines and country songwriting legend Lawton Williams. She is affiliated with ASCAP and started her own music publishing company, called Higilty Pigility Publishing.
