    Artist History
previously known as e.v.a., konversion's roots are metal, most styles. he first got into music when his older brother introduced him to metallica and anthrax when konversion was ten. the following years, he grew accustomed to listening to all types of music besides country. he still liked metal at this time, but the liking wasn't as strong as before. in konversion's third year in high school, his first serious band was formed. he had planned on playing guitar in this band, but ended up playing the drums. this band was pretty poor. they just compiled a bunch of complex crap that didn't go together and called it a song. they soon broke up, but not before causing a riot at the school's talent show and getting banned from performing in a school event ever again. a couple years later, in february of 1999, when konversion's drumming talent had progressed and extremely improved(numerous bands in school wanted him as their drummer), another project was formed. this was probably his most serious involvement in a band. they also had the most talent of any band that he had been in. they were only together for a year, but in this year, they composed 7 songs, and had perfected 6 or 7 cover songs. they hadn't performed publically a lot, maybe 3 or 4 times, but everyone who had heard us said they were good. when this band ended, so did friendships of some of the members. certain complications between people were a big part of the break up. along with that, konversion lost a lot of interest in the band. he felt as if the fun was no longer there. before, they would play around for hours and come up with the coolest shit. towards the end, they would struggle to write anything worth a shit. and when it was worth a shit, it was looked down upon by at least one member. so, it just went down hill from there. during this time, konversion was introduced by a friend to edm(electronic dance music) and to the dj scene. this is when he started getting a passion for all types of electronic music. eventually, this passion grew extremely fond of trance music. in january of 2001, konversion started composing trance on his computer. after playing around for a while with his synthesizers, he completed his first track. around this same time, he sold his drum equipment to put towards the purchase of his turntables(technics sl-1200 m3d's). after 5 months of spinning trance, konversion had a musical preference change after a visit up to washington d.c. he realized that drum n bass can be a whole lot phatter than trance, and decided that he was going to start composing and spinning it. and thats the end... so far.
