Artist History
Jen has been a member of Kulshan Chorus on & off
over the last few years, & sang with her ex-spouse
at open mics, but it wasn’t until February of 2000
that she got her first guitar, at the urging of
local musician Marcia Guderian. Jen was singing
a cappella at an open mic Marcia hosted, & off
they went to the Railroad Avenue pawnshop to
provide the means to accompany Jen’s prolific
writings.
Prior to this point, Jen had experience with home recording with a group of three musicians, & together they produced a self-titled cd “Evermore”, on which she sang none of her own songs, but provided backup vocals, & lead on one song.Jen has been a member of Kulshan Chorus on & off over the last few years, & sang with her ex-spouse at open mics, but it wasn’t until February of 2000 that she got her first guitar, at the urging of local musician Marcia Guderian. Press Reviews
Bellingham's Every Other Weekly review by Wayne
Ellis picked out the only song on the 'Evermore'
album with Jen as lead singer as his favorite:
" This is anthemic music that's meant to be bigger
than life. In most cases, it's pretty successful
in pulling it off, though my favorite cut is
'Fearless' with its ethereal, but less processed
vocals & laid back instrumental approach".... |
