Artist History
One day, Trevor and Caleb went to Kevin's house and began playing and recording songs in Kevin's famous recording studio. They soon completed a tape of 1 mintue pop-punk songs including the smash-hit "Nordinator" which appeared on Short Music for Short People Vol. 6. One year later and they've come back together with a new power-pop sound and their hit new song entitled "Letters" is taking the city by storm. They soon acquired bass player Samir Asfahani, or as many know him, Panther Moondragon (in picture to left), and their lineup was complete. After playing their second show and making a whopping $15 as a band, Caleb felt that there was nothing left for him to accomplish. Caleb decided it was time for him to go his own way. He told the band that he was quitting and that he'd never return. Kevin then took the wheel and declared that he would sing, and Trevor, Kevin, and Samir began making songs that were better than ever. But then Kevin wasn't cutting it out as singer and they began auditioning. At the very first audition, before he even sang, they found their man and Ben "Billy Cheevers" Furbacher became Gentle Ben's new lead singer... but then he changed his mind and they were singerless again. After a critical group meeting they decided they'd all sing. Quote Trevor Walters, "As long as we're going to sing badly, we might as well all do it together." And so they did and they instantly produced the hit "Fresh-Stuffed Pitas" which was eaten up quickly by the masses. |
