Artist History
Lo-Phi Delta started as the home studio outlet for Jim of Revision A (see links page), a defunct power-pop/modern rock band based in Biloxi, MS. LPD released two full-length cassettes, a self-titled effort (1996) and "In 2-D Super-Vision" (1997)--see Images page for cover art--on Revision A's label, Outer Space Records, in between Rev-A work. The songs on "Six Pack Hangovers" were written over the next couple of years, and were recorded over Christmas 2000 on the MS Gulf Coast. During the interim in summer 2000, Jim played with Ferrigno (see links page). The latest LPD release is "Best of the Early Tapes and More," a compilation of selected tracks from the first two cassette-only releases, plus a few previously unavailable tracks. |
