    Artist description
Downtempo and hiphop meet halfway to provide a new soundtrack for your life. This album is a journey along the path of the various physiological states of an Instrumental Ward patient.... Dr's Manik and Jaded serve as the administration of the Instrumental Ward. They began to study music therapy and its effects on the mentally ill late in 1999. Since then their combined effort has led to this audio doctoral thesis of sorts--the Instrumental Ward album. This project stands out with no aid of vocal additions. In the past, both producers have worked with lyricists, however, this project is composed entirely of instrumental music. It is based on the desire to move beyond just producing "beats", and to create music that exists in a realm all of its own. The songs on this album take you to a place where no music has taken you in the past. From moments of clarity to the most induced of states, this album explores the phsyiological state of those admitted to their own internal Instrumental Ward. The doctors are in--enjoy their audio dissertation!
