Artist description
Well, to start off, I'm not your average 21-year old.
I possess this deep-down lust for creating the most awesome, danceable tracks I can.
I work mainly with software synths on my home computer workstation, but that doesn't prevent the creativity from bursting out like that annoying fine stream of lemon-juice that always seems to land right in your eye.
I know that with enough plays and a touch of respect, you will enjoy my music more than you could have ever imagined (and maybe even a little more than that, too.)

Artist History
I started my music lifestyle when I was about 8 years old.
After a never-ending argument of 2 minutes with my parents, I was forced to join the school orchestra.
I reluctantly picked up my first violin, then only a half-sized violin, and laid the bow down to hear the most beautiful shriek any bleeding ears have heard.
I was changed.
More than 10 years have passed since that awful awaking destined to be my life.
I still manage to pick up the violin every now and then, only to make the ears of my family and neighbors bleed even more with such sweet songs of sorrow, and that feeling of emotion, strength, and tears will always be my saviour.
Sometime in the middle of my high school years, I picked up a rather simple yet concise piece of software called "Midisoft Studio, 4.0". It was very basic, yet let me do what ever I wanted, even if it meant having to input each controller/pitch/effect change tick by tick.
After familiarizing myself with this God-like software, I started to experiment outside the realms of General Midi, and picked up a SoundBlaster AWE64, which could hold a WHOPPING 512k of samples.
My life was changed... but in a good way.
After I *quickly* exhausted the 512k limit of my prized AWE64, I purchased a SoundBlaster Live! Note: the exclamation mark is part of its name.
The Live! could hold as many samples as my throbbing heart desired, as long as I didn't exceed half my total system RAM.
I now use about 192 MB of sample space.
Then something old, yet new, came about.
Software Synthesizers.
Sure, they were a little slower and had a delay of 200 ms or so, but it didn't matter.
It meant: NEW SAMPLING TECHNIQUES
A pulsating of dizziness swept me as I nearly vomited to the beautiful sounds a software synth can provide.
Then I heard him calling...
His name...
DJ Virgen.
That's who I am now.
Until I exhaust this new method. |
